Finavia builds largest Nordic high-capacity taxi charging station

The largest Nordic high-capacity taxi charging station is being built at Helsinki Airport

Plugit Finland, a Finnish technology company, in cooperation with Finavia, will build a charging station at Helsinki Airport with around 40 charging points for the electric taxis operating at the airport. The charging area for electric taxis will be completed by the end of 2023.

Hundreds of electric taxis travel to Helsinki Airport every day. A new charging station is sure to be well received by taxi drivers. The total power of the charging station for electric taxis that will be built at the airport is about 4 megawatts. The charging station uses Plugit's high-performance charging system. The station can be expanded later so that up to 100 electric taxis can be charged simultaneously.
