Airline Norwegian leases new aircraft

Norwegian Airline has signed a letter of intent with Air Lease Corporation (ALC) for the lease of six Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft. Norwegian has already leased three 737 MAX 8 aircraft from ALC. One of these has already been delivered.

Norwegian expects the aircraft to be delivered before the 2023 summer season.

The Boeing 737 MAX 8 is approximately 14 per cent more fuel efficient than the previous generation, contributing to Norwegian's ambitious goal of reducing carbon dioxide emissions by 45 per cent by 2030.
