Icelandair posted record passenger numbers in 2022

The Icelandic airline Icelandair is pleased to announce an excellent financial year 2022, with record passenger numbers leading to a strong increase in revenue. At Icelandair, they are poised to execute the most extensive flight schedule in Icelandair's history in terms of frequencies and destinations.

Strategy and actions during the pandemic resulted in Icelandair being able to quickly increase capacity and satisfy all markets. In 2022, the flight schedule was doubled and 3.7 million passengers were carried to 51 destinations.
