Sweden offers travellers a new nature experience

Just in time for Sweden's Walpurgis Night, Visit Sweden is releasing the short story KILN, written by bestselling author John Ajvide Lindqvist, and making it available worldwide as a free audiobook via Spotify.

The story takes listeners on a journey into the enchanted nature of Sweden and gives a taste of what's to come in Sweden's forests, lakes, rivers and valleys. Kiln brings the mythical Swedish nature to life and invites the listener to follow in the footsteps of a character who meets the enchanting Huldra, a forest nymph from Swedish folklore.

Walpurgis Night takes place on the last day of April. Traditionally, it is supposed to ward off evil spirits. Walpurgis is celebrated all over Sweden, with people usually gathering in local parks around bonfires.
