Our Best Småland package reveals unforgettable experiences in Sweden

Visit Sweden introduces "Our Best Småland" - a new, customizable package that encapsulates an immersive experience of the best Sweden has to offer.

Guests immerse themselves in the beauty of Swedish nature through hikes, bike rides, wild lake swims and outdoor cooking. Overnight stays are in a variety of accommodations, including a manor house, a tree house in a design hotel and a lakeside teepee for a truly unique adventure. Guests can also explore Astrid Lindgren's childhood landscape on an e-bike, explore the filming locations of Emil in Lönneberga and customize their itinerary with individual adventures.

The package promises the best of gastronomy, nature and culture in Småland, presented by four family businesses: Wallby Säteri, Trakt Forest Hotel, Outdoor Experience Småland and Cykla i Filmlandskapet ("Cycling through the film landscape").

Sandra Sälleteg of Trakt Forest Hotel highlights the carefully selected locations that showcase the authentic landscape and flavors of the region. The accommodations and activities are conveniently located within 40 kilometers and offer scenic drives along winding roads, past stone-walled farms, through manicured landscapes, meadows and forests.

While some days are planned with activities, guests have plenty of free time for swimming, hiking, fishing, boat trips and exploring local attractions such as Norra Kvill National Park, Virserum Art Gallery, Astrid Lindgren's birthplace, the wooden town of Eksjö and the film studio (Filmbyn) in Mariannelund. The price starts at SEK 12,500 per guest for the four-day package (Thursday to Sunday). The entire week (Sunday to Saturday) is available for around SEK 22,000 per person.
