Expanded Oslo Airport offers many new opportunities

The extension at Oslo's Gardermoen Airport opened in mid-May. Covering an area of 1,600 square meters, the airport features trees, a stage, catering and pop-up shops.

The aim is to offer passengers a better experience. The large and open area is a great place to eat, shop or just relax in beautiful surroundings. The event area offers opportunities for exciting activities throughout the year to make the airport wait more interesting for travellers, such as concerts, tastings, book signings or promotion of new concepts and products.

One of the new gastro concepts in the airport is LETT restaurant, which opened its first restaurant in Oslo in 2014 and has since operated 18 restaurants in Scandinavia. The Oslo-based restaurant chain focuses on local and seasonal ingredients in its dishes. The concept is simple: to make it easier for people to choose real, green and nutritious food.

In addition to new restaurants and the event area, there are also new shopping opportunities in the renovated duty-free shops and small boutiques where travellers can find a diverse selection of gifts, home furnishings and many other beautiful things.

All concepts are to be implemented on schedule by summer 2023.
