Finavia increases prices at Helsinki Airport

Finavia will introduce new airport charges from 1 January 2024. This adjustment includes an increase in charges for airlines and other users due to the economic impact of increased material and service costs as well as increased depreciation following the recent completion of the investment programme at Helsinki Airport. To offset this, Finavia has implemented a cost savings programme of EUR 200 million.

Specifically, passenger fees will be increased by 6.0%, landing fees by an average of 6.3%, aircraft parking fees by 4.8% and the electricity infrastructure fee by 3.8%. Security fees for departing passengers will be increased by 5.5%. Overall, air traffic charges are expected to rise by 5.9% compared to the tariffs in 2023.
