#NordicNews on destinations and Estonia

Estonia will continue to rely on tourism in 2023

Estonia is planning numerous measures to promote tourism in the source markets Finland, Latvia and Germany. In doing so, Estonia wants to establish itself as a Nordic country.

Interest in Estonia is high despite the war crisis. Guests are drawn to Tallinn and Tartu, but also to Pärnu and the islands of Saaremaa and Muhu.

For tour operators, the combination of Finland and Estonia is of great importance. This is also a reason why Tallink Silja is increasing the frequency of crossings on the Tallinn-Helsinki route with the new shuttle ferry My Star.

In January, Tallinn was named the "Green Capital of Europe" and Tartu will become the European Capital of Culture in 2024.
