Nordic cities are among the vegan hotspots in Europe

Five cities in Northern Europe in the top 20 plant-based hotspots in Europe

Oslo, Copenhagen, Helsinki, Stockholm and Tallinn all feature in the top 20 ranks of a study by online tour operator loveholidays. Over 50 cities were analysed for plant-based lifestyles.

Four categories were considered:
- Number of vegan/plant-based restaurants
- Number of vegan/plant-based shops
- Number of vegan/plant-based festivals
- Number of restaurants with a green Michelin star

Oslo landed in 6th place, followed by Copenhagen. Helsinki occupies 13th place, Stockholm 16th and Tallinn 18th.
