New schedule for Wasaline with a record number of weekly departures
Since June 24th, Wasaline has been offering a total of 26 trips per week, marking a new record for the company. Wasaline operates in the Gulf of Bothnia between the Finnish city of Vaasa and the Swedish city of Umeå.
The two new trips between Vaasa and Umeå take place on Mondays and are operated by the Aurora Botnia, one of the most sustainable passenger ferries in the world, with a total of four departures—two from Umeå and two from Vaasa. During the high season, lasting until August 5th, 2024, the Aurora Botnia now operates 3-4 trips daily.
In response to increased demand for both freight and passenger services, the company has introduced these two Monday trips during the high season.
