Expanded programme of HX Expeditions for 2025/2026

Hurtigruten Expeditions, now known as HX, has unveiled its programme for the 2025/2026 season. It includes new Greenland itineraries, more room for adventure in Antarctica and also warm water expeditions in West Africa.

A fourth ship, Maud, will be added to the fleet for the 2025/2026 Greenland season, significantly expanding the shipping company's offerings. There are also plans to utilise the new airport in Nuuk, which is due to open in 2024. Nuuk will be the starting point for three routes along the west coast of Greenland and will also enable crossings of the Northwest Passage.

There will be a new trip around Iceland from Reykjavik and adventure trips from Longyearbyen on Spitsbergen, where travellers can go on kayak tours and glacier hikes. The number of expeditions to Antarctica has been increased to 50, and the Maud will also be used as a fourth ship here.
