Trelleborg on the south coast of Sweden
We warmly invite you to get to know the Swedish destination Trelleborg during a FAM trip from September 3 to 6, 2022!
You will meet representatives of the region and the local providers, who will present what you can expect in Sweden's southernmost city.
Sweden's southernmost city
Trelleborg is the southernmost city in Sweden. It is famous for its palm trees and Viking heritage. The town takes its name from a Viking fortress that was rebuilt on its original site. The port is one of Sweden's largest, with ferries to Germany and Poland, while the daily traffic gives the city a continental feel.
Things to experience in Trelleborg:
- Visit the Viking fortress Trelleborgen
- Enjoying a Swedish fika in the old water tower
- Visit the city park with free-range chickens and peacocks
- Marvel at public art – the "Böst" statue in the pedestrian zone is one of the city's most popular photo spots
Special highlight of the FAM trip: Arrival and departure with TT Line's new flagship Nils Holgersson
The "Nils Holgersson" is TT-Line's new flagship, which has only been operating on the Travemünde-Trelleborg route since this year. With 239 modern and comfortable cabins in various categories, the Green Ship offers space for about 800 passengers. We begin and end our FAM trip with a crossing on the Nils Holgersson.
