Sustainable travel on the south coast of Finland
From 01. to 04. June 2023 we invite you to join the Finnish project Novago on a FAM trip to the sustainable south of Finland!
You will meet representatives and local providers of the region. They will present to you what the region has to offer in terms of sustainability! The Uusimaa region is located on the south coast of Finland and includes the capital Helsinki.
Finland's ambitious climate goal - also in tourism
Finland has set itself the goal of being carbon neutral by 2035. The vision of Novago, which is behind the Carbon Neutral Experience project, is to promote the Uusimaa region as one of the first CO2-neutral destinations. The Carbon Neutral Experience project implements services and concrete operating models that help tourism businesses reduce their emissions.
Special highlights of this FAM trip:
For this FAM Trip, we selected areas with providers that meet these criteria and can offer service packages without long travel distances. All service providers we visit either were awarded the Sustainable Travel Finland label, an eco-certificate or are pioneer companies.
Join us to experience local culture, seasonal food, close-to-town nature experiences through the diverse range of responsible tourism service providers that show you what CO2-neutral tourism can look like.
