New room at Treehotel in Harads, located in Sweden, opens in May 2022

The room is the latest addition to Treehotel, where all rooms are designed by some of Scandinavia's most renowned architects such as Snøhetta, Rintala Eggertsson, SandellSandberg, Tham&Videgård and others. In addition, the Bjarke Ingels Group was invited by Britta and Kent Lindvall, the owners of Treehotel, to design the eighth room. The new room at Treehotel will be called Biosphere.

"We are happy to initiate a project with yet another group of leading Scandinavian architects, this time the Danish Bjarke Ingels Group", says Kent Lindvall.

Located in Harads, 70 minutes from Luleå Airport in Swedish Lapland, the 34-square-metre room is designed to attract birds and wildlife to allow guests to connect with nature. The room will welcome its guests in May 2022.
