Redesigned interiors and Scandinavian splendor on the Helsinki-Stockholm route with Viking Cinderella

Viking Cinderella returns to the Helsinki-Stockholm route with significant updates, featuring more comfortable cabins, a fresh Scandinavian design and spa facilities inspired by the archipelago environment.

Originally built in 1989, the ship's interiors, including gleaming marble and copper, have been revitalized and are now considered extremely trendy in the current design scene.

After a stay of up to 18 days in Naantali, the ship's 289 cabins have undergone extensive renovations. Bunk beds have been replaced with cozy double beds, and walls and floors have been updated to improve the sleeping experience with new high-quality mattresses.

In the public areas, the spa facilities have been completely renovated to reflect Viking Line's Archipelago Spa concept, which draws inspiration from the Baltic Sea and its archipelago. The interiors showcase calm colors, light wood and materials that exude Scandinavian elegance and give the ship a fresh look. The ship now offers a total of 223 cabins with double beds in various categories, including luxury suites.

Despite the modern updates, many original features have been preserved, emphasizing the ship's connection to the aesthetics of the 1980s and 1990s. Polished marble and gleaming copper, reminiscent of the ship's luxurious interiors, can still be admired in areas such as the Seaview Dining facilities and the buffet restaurant.

Local products were prioritized in the renovation, with various Finnish companies contributing to different aspects. Sininen Sohva in Helsinki upholstered the cabin sofas, I.S. Mäkinen supplied new sofas for the suites, and Fintom Services Oy in Naantali took care of the upholstery of the old sofas in suites, the nightclub and the chairs in the buffet restaurant. Other contributors are Illyria Interior Oy, Porin Puukaluste Oy, Finemal, Vallila, Decco, Wall to Wall Oy, Alandia Engineering Ab, Team-Electric, Europlan and TJT-Kaluste.

In addition, Kerabit supplied the imitation plank flooring for the spa facilities.
