Marimekko and Tallink Silja: Luxurious partnership to redesign cabins

Tallink Silja has launched a pilot project that is being carried out on the Silja Serenade. In this project, twelve Commodore-class cabins have been fitted with products from the well-known Finnish lifestyle design house Marimekko.

The cabins now feature Marimekko products such as throws, cushions, towels and drinking glasses. The aim of this project is to find out the customers' reaction to the newly designed more luxurious interior of the cabins.

Marimekko, a renowned Finnish lifestyle design house, has a long-standing partnership with Tallink Silja. Marimekko's products are widely used in almost every Finnish household, as well as in Estonia and Sweden, and are becoming increasingly popular in other parts of Europe and Asia. The intention behind the pilot project is to offer passengers a cosier and more elegant experience on board Tallink Silja ships. The company strives to continuously improve the customer experience on board and is always looking for partners who can contribute to this.

Silja Serenade has a total of 34 Commodore cabins, of which 12 have balconies and 22 are without balconies. These cabins are located on decks 10 and 11.
