Low-cost airline Play flies from Frankfurt to Reykjavik

The Icelandic low-cost airline Play will start operating the Frankfurt - Reykjavik route in the coming winter. From 14 December, Play will operate the route four times a week. 

Germany is an important market for Play. Since the end of June 2021, Play has been flying all year round from Berlin, and since May this year also from Hamburg. Düsseldorf has also been part of the flight schedule since June 2023. The new route opens up new opportunities for passengers from Frankfurt. US destinations such as New York, Washington and Toronto are easily accessible from Reykjavik. Stopover traffic to North America is also an important mainstay for Play.
