This year's ski resort has been selected

On 22 September, the Ski Resort of the Year, the Ski Centre of the Year and the Ski School of the Year were chosen by the Finnish Ski Federation in Vuokatti. The best ski resort was Salla, the best centre Mielakka and the best ski school is in Sappee.

The award ceremony usually takes place immediately after the season ends in spring. This year and last year, however, the event was postponed to autumn. 

The winners were selected by a jury chaired by Kristiina Hietasaari (Visit Finland - Business Finland). The jury includes representatives from tourism, media and sports associations. The results of a consumer survey in which more than 4,000 skiers shared their opinions also influenced the decision.
