Hydrogen taxis are in service in Oslo

The Danish taxi company Viggo has started driving the first hydrogen taxis in Oslo. The start-up company has been present on the Norwegian market since August this year and only drives climate-friendly taxi models - manufactured by Toyota. The vehicles have a range of 650 kilometres when fully fuelled. By next summer, 100 electric and hydrogen taxis are expected to be in service.

The climate neutral taxis from Viggo can only be ordered via app. This app, then also displays how much CO2 has been saved compared to a journey with a diesel-powered vehicle.
