The rest area in Hardanger is a new tourist attraction in Norway

A new attraction will open at the Espenes rest area in Hardanger, Norway on Wednesday August 31. The Norwegian Road Administration "Statens vegvesen" has had a viewing pavilion built overlooking the Sørfjord.

The massive pavilion offers a spectacular view of the Sørfjord to the north, steep mountains and sheer cliffs. In addition, the playful reflections of light can be observed in the steel.

The street installation is part of a National Tourist Route and is located between Kinsarvik and Odda on National Road 13.
