65 companies present Norway's culinary and tourist highlights

The two regions of Northern Norway and Trøndelag will be represented at the international trade fair for food and tourism, the Grüne Woche (IGW) in Berlin in January 2024. A total of 65 companies from these Norwegian regions will be presenting their characteristic gastronomic and tourist highlights in Berlin.

Norway's participation in the Grüne Woche and its own stand are part of a larger plan to establish Norway as a nation of flavours. This will serve to raise the profile of Norwegian cookery and tourism. The aim is to encourage co-operation and innovation across geographical and business boundaries.

The official opening of the Norwegian stand at Grüne Woche 2024 will be performed by Geir Pollestad, Norway's Minister of Agriculture and Food, on 19 January 2024.

Last year, at Güne Woche 2023, a total of 1400 exhibitors from 60 countries were represented. In addition, 1700 accredited journalists from 25 countries took part. Agriculture ministers from all continents and numerous foreign delegations were also present.
