National sustainability certificate becomes part of a globally recognized quality label

Sweden's national sustainability certificate "Nature's Best Sweden" has been recognised by the Global Sustainable Tourism Council as the standard for nature and cultural experiences. It meets all international criteria for sustainable tourism.

For Nature's Best Sweden, this is an important milestone that strengthens the trust of consumers, nature tourism businesses and other stakeholders. The recognition means that the label has undergone a rigorous review by GSTC experts to ensure that it meets the organisation's global standards. Nature's Best Sweden now belongs to a group of renowned sustainability programmes, including for example Earthcheck, Green Key and Ecotourism Australia.

The Nature's Best quality label has been in existence for 20 years and has proven to be a solid quality assurance system for nature tourism businesses in Sweden. The basis for this is the label's six basic principles. In addition, there are thematic criteria that depend on the type of nature and cultural experiences a company offers.
