World Congress on Sustainable Tourism to be held in Sweden

Sweden to host the World Congress on Sustainable Tourism in 2024

The Global Sustainable Tourism Council (GSTC) will hold its World Congress in Stockholm, Sweden from 23 - 25 April 2024. Sweden has a proven and focused track record of working with sustainability.

The 2024 Congress is an opportunity for Visit Sweden and the Swedish Agency for Economic and Regional Growth to work with the Swedish business community. The aim is to promote sustainable development before, during and after the Congress, to raise awareness of more conscious travel and to create a long-term perspective for Sweden as a destination.

The Global Sustainable Tourism Council (GSTC) is responsible for the global GSTC standard for sustainable tourism and provides international accreditation through sustainable tourism certification bodies.
