Eco-friendly care products offer luxurious care experience on board Hurtigruten Norway

Together with Lofoten Seaweed, Hurtigruten Norway has developed an innovative range of skin and hair care products that combine a luxurious care experience with environmental protection.

These products in cooperation with Lofoten Seaweed have already been successfully introduced on MS Trollfjord, which serves the Svalbard and North Cape routes. In the future, they will also be available on the mail ships. 

The new environmentally friendly skin and hair care products will be found in every cabin on Hurtigruten ships in the future. The new beauty products are free of harmful chemicals and are made with hand-harvested seaweed from Lofoten. Hurtigruten is thus replacing around 14,000 litres of soap, shampoo and other care products with the locally produced and sustainable alternative.

Lofoten Seaweed already supplies the Hurtigruten ships with seaweed for the culinary offerings on board.
