The food area at Helsinki Airport is "Airport Foodcourt of the Year 2023"

Finavia's Food Hall at Helsinki Airport was honoured with the title of Airport Food Court of the Year at the International Airport Food and Beverage and Hospitality Awards. The award was presented in Bangkok on 13 September 2023.

Nora Immonen, Finavia's Director of Commercial Operations, expressed her delight at the international recognition of Helsinki Airport's restaurants and services. The Food Hall offers six different restaurants that combine international cuisine, authentic flavours and popular Finnish dishes under one roof. Special emphasis was placed on fast service and a wide selection of food and drinks.

The Airport Foodcourt of the Year award considered criteria such as quality of service, passenger-friendliness, airport performance, technology integration and the use of sustainable materials. The food hall, located in the airport's arrivals hall, is known as a popular lunch spot not only by passengers but also by locals. Meals from the restaurants can be ordered via delivery apps such as Wolt and Foodora.
