Eurowings to fly to Vuokatti in Finland next winter

The German airline Eurowings will start direct flights from Düsseldorf to Kajaani next winter. Kajaani Airport is located about 40 kilometres from Vuokatti. Located in the province of Kainuu, where Lapland and the Lakeland meet, Vuokatti offers visitors the highlights of Finland's best experiences in one package.

Eurowings will fly the route once a week on Saturdays from 18 January to 22 March 2025. “The Eurowings route from Central Europe to Kajaani is a much desired addition to our airports’ route network. Direct international routes are very important for the accessibility of both the region and Finland as a whole. At Finavia, we work hard with our regional partners to develop connections,” says Petri Vuori, Finavia’s Senior Vice President responsible for route development.
