Voigt Travel gets acquired by Stena Line Travel Group AB

Stena Line Travel Group AB announced that they have acquired Voigt Travel Holding. The Swedish travel company Stena Line is one of the biggest leisure travel groups in Northern Europe. Voigt Travel is market leader in the Netherlands for Nordic holidays. 

The acquisition also brings in the sister companies of Voigt Travel, which are Scandinavian Wintersports and Ruka Safaris. These additions to the Dutch travel company Buro Scanbrit, which has been part of Stena Line Travel Group since 1986, will strengthen the travel offerings of both companies in the Dutch market. Stena Line will gain significant operational benefits from working with Voigt Travel.

All companies will continue to under their own brand names. Stena Line Travel Group cumulates knowhow for the Nordics, Iceland and Great Britain and focuses on creating a European Travel Group specialized in North European destinations.
