National Winners of the 2023 World Ski Awards in Finland, Sweden and Norway

On 13 November 2023, the winners of the annual World Ski Awards were announced for the eleventh time in a row. Ski industry professionals and ski consumers submit their votes for the awards.

The World Ski Awards™ are the only global initiative that recognizes, rewards and celebrates excellence in ski tourism. The awards are known to bring the industry closer together and promote innovation, local growth and prosperity.

Sion Rapson, Managing Director, World Ski Awards, says: “Winning a World Ski Award signifies reaching the summit of ski hospitality. I congratulate our select group of winners for all their hard work, fortitude and unswerving commitment to excellence."

Best Ski Resorts in the Nordic Countries

In the Nordic countries, Levi in Finland, Geilo in Norway and Åre in Sweden were recognised as the best ski resorts. After Levi had to hand over the title to Iso-Syöte in 2022, Levi is the winner again this year. Geilo and Åre have already won the title in previous years.

Winners in Finland

The award for Finland's best ski resort in 2023 goes to Levi Ski Resort. Pyhä, Ruka, Salla, Iso-Syöte and Ylläs were also nominated. The winner of the Award "Best Ski Boutique Hotel" may come as a surprise. After years of Hotel Iso-Syöte winning the award, this year the title goes to RukaVillage Ski-Inn Hotel & Apartments. But Syöte also has reason to celebrate: KIDE Hotel by Iso-Syöte was again awarded the title "Best Ski Hotel". Rukan Salonki Chalets was honoured as "Best Ski Chalet".
