Viking Line sells M/V Amorella

Important step towards renewing the fleet

On August 4, the sale of the ship M/V Amorella was finalised. Viking Line is selling the ship M/V Amorella, which has been in service since 1988, to Corsica Ferries SAS. The ship will be transferred in October 2022.

With the conclusion of the deal, Viking Line not only succeeds in taking an important step in the renewal of its fleet, but also strengthens the financial situation and liquidity of the company.

Viking Line will operate the Helsinki-Stockholm route with one ship in winter and will evaluate strategic alternatives for the continuation of the passage.
