The first month of the new Viking Glory has exceeded all expectations

The response to Viking Line's new flagship, Viking Glory, has been overwhelming, with bookings currently exceeding 350,000. In its first month of operation, Viking Line has already increased its market share on the Turku-Åland-Stockholm route to more than 70%, as more than 70,000 passengers sailed on the new ship in March. In addition, almost 280,000 passengers have booked a voyage and are waiting to come on board.

On 1 March, Viking Line's new flagship, Viking Glory, entered service on the Stockholm-Mariehamn-Turku route. It is one of the most climate-friendly ships in the world and offers passengers top comfort and a wide range of experiences. More than 70,000 passengers have already enjoyed wonderful views through the large windows that offer a view of the world-famous archipelago.

At the time of launch, there was uncertainty about whether to use a new ship, given the impact of the Covid-pandemic on travel. But people's interest and demand have exceeded expectations, with over 350,000 passengers booking a voyage on the Viking Glory since the launch.
