Admiral Hotel in Copenhagen will soon belong to Strawberry

Strawberry takes over the historic Admiral Hotel in Copenhagen, which has been located in the heart of Copenhagen on Nyhavn for over 200 years and offers a breathtaking view of Copenhagen harbour. This is a significant addition to the Strawberry hotel group, which already successfully operates hotels such as Villa Copenhagen and Comfort Vesterbro in Copenhagen.

Petter A. Stordalen, the owner of Strawberry, calls this acquisition a milestone for the company. The Admiral Hotel will now become part of Strawberry's extensive hotel portfolio, which includes luxury hotels, spa hotels, high mountain hotels and city hotels throughout Scandinavia.

The Admiral Hotel, located in an iconic warehouse dating back to 1787, features 366 recently renovated rooms, meeting and conference facilities for up to 300 guests, a bistro bar, terrace café and the highly acclaimed SALT restaurant. This acquisition not only honours the history of the Danish hotel industry, but also expands the range of first-class hotels in Copenhagen. Admiral Hotel is owned by the real estate company Midstar Hotels AB, which owns a total of 28 hotels in Sweden, Norway and Denmark with a total of 4,683 rooms.
