The Norwegian National Museum opens in Oslo this summer

After almost eight years of planning and development, the largest museum in the Nordic countries will open in Oslo this summer: the Norwegian National Museum. On 11 June 2022, the new Norwegian National Museum is going to welcome its visitors, and art lovers and those interested will be able to admire the great diversity of art, design and architecture.

Covering an exhibition area of around 13 000 m2, the Norwegian National Museum will display more than 5 000 works of art, from medieval tapestries to modern designs. Located near Oslo's harbour promenade, it also offers one of the best views of the city.
