Train service resumes between Gothenburg and Oslo

After being suspended for a year and a half due to the Corona pandemic, train services between Oslo and Gothenburg could soon resume, however, with some new rules.

Although the border between Sweden and Norway has slowly been reopened, the train route remained closed for the time being due to difficulties in checking the testing and vaccination status of passengers. The Norwegian Directorate of Railways has suggested that the line could reopen in October, with a Covid certificate required to board the train. The train companies would be responsible for checking the certificates.
