NORDEUROPA: Online Sales Workshop for travel trade

NORDEUROPA, an online event organized by NordicMarketing, unites Nordic tourism providers with Central European tour operators. In 2021, Finland, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Iceland, and Estonia were represented. Originally created as an alternative to the cancelled ITB tourism trade fair due to COVID-19, this online event has thrived, being successfully hosted three times. Event history

In February 2021, the inaugural NORDEUROPA event welcomed tour operators from the DACH and Benelux markets, alongside tourism suppliers from Norway, Sweden, and Finland. With 148 attendees from eight countries, the event hosted 957 online meetings.

Due to ITB 2021 and 2022's altered format, NORDEUROPA returned in early February 2022 as a two-day affair, expanding its reach. Buyers from the Czech Republic, France, Italy, Spain, the UK, and the USA joined, alongside tourism representatives from Iceland, Denmark, Finland, Sweden, and Norway. The event saw a 76% spike in participants and a 56% increase in meetings compared to its debut.

In February 2023, the third NORDEUROPA welcomed Estonian tourism stakeholders for the first time, drawing 260 participants from 19 countries and facilitating a staggering 1278 meetings!

Furthermore, our choice of video conferencing and matchmaking platform, Converve, has been exceptionally user-friendly. While we've had numerous tour operators join NORDEUROPA each year, we're equally thrilled to welcome new participants to our online event with every edition.
