New hotel investment is a bold response to Enontekiö's tourism potential

A new hotel is being built on the spectacular fell landscape of the Finnish Arms, in response to the potential of year-round tourism in Enontekiö. The hotel project is an investment of around four million euros. The cosy hotel will be built near the border with Fjäll Lapland in the village of Kilpisjärvi, right next to the Nature Centre. The eco-friendly, wooden-built hotel consists of 54 beds, a restaurant and a sauna area. The building was designed with the environment and nature of the area in mind.

Tourists come all the way to Enontekiö for the Arctic nature, the tranquillity and the Northern Lights. The tourism industry in the region has a lot of unrealised potential and opportunities for business development.
