Expanded program focuses on sustainability, technology and balance

The ITB Berlin Convention has announced an expanded conference program for 2026. Under the theme “Leading Tourism into Balance”, the convention will address key challenges shaping the global tourism industry, with a strong focus on sustainability, innovation and strategic transformation.

Comprehensive program with 200 sessions

Taking place from 3 to 5 March 2026, the ITB Berlin Convention will feature around 200 sessions across 17 thematic tracks. More than 400 speakers from business and academia will share insights into market developments, emerging trends and future-oriented strategies.

Artificial intelligence remains a core topic

Artificial intelligence continues to play a central role in the program. Sessions will explore how data-driven technologies are reshaping booking processes, travel planning and customer interaction, and what this means for tourism businesses and destinations.

Finding balance in a changing market

Additional sessions focus on responsible tourism, evolving consumer behavior and new approaches to marketing and distribution. The aim is to provide guidance in an increasingly dynamic and volatile market environment.

Practical formats for tourism professionals

Alongside panel discussions, the convention will introduce interactive formats such as Deep Dives and compact knowledge sessions, offering hands-on insights for destinations, tour operators and tourism suppliers.
