Fjord Line's MS Stavangerfjord and MS Bergensfjord coming back in service

Fjord Line's cruise ships MS Stavangerfjord and MS Bergensfjord are back on the high seas after a modernisation. They will resume scheduled services between Bergen, Stavanger, Hirtshals and Kristiansand.

The MS Stavangerfjord will sail again as early as 26 May, the MS Bergensfjord from 16 June. The engines of both ships have been exchanged and replaced with new dual-fuel engines. The new engines can run on liquefied natural gas (LNG) as well as marine gas oil (MGO), offering sustainable travel options.

In addition to the engines, the lounge has also been renewed. Passengers can enjoy the ride in comfortable seats, consume simple meals and use the Wi-Fi and power outlets. The new lounge is a wonderful place to relax or work with a wonderful view of the sea.

Thanks to the re-commissioning of the modernised ships, passengers can once again travel year-round between Bergen, Stavanger, Hirtshals and Kristiansand. Fjord Line offers four daily departures between Kristiansand and Hirsthals during the high season.
