Finnair expands fleet with Embraer and ATR aircraft

Finnair is reinforcing its regional network with additional Embraer and ATR aircraft, to be operated by its partner Norra.

The new aircraft are expected to increase flexibility and strengthen schedule reliability, supporting Finnair’s broader network strategy. At the same time, the airline plans to expand the number of regional jets operated by Norra.

Strong European summer program

For summer 2026, Finnair will operate flights to more than 90 European destinations, including several new routes. Regional connectivity remains key to feeding long-haul and international traffic.

Reliable feeder connections are essential for building competitive travel programs to Nordic destinations. Flight accessibility continues to be a core factor in destination choice – especially for regions such as Lapland.
