Finavia signs contracts with taxi companies

New contract taxi companies at Kuopio and Tampere airports

Finavia has signed contracts with three taxi companies for Kuopio and Tampere-Pirkkala airports. This is to ensure that taxis are available to travellers at all times.

The contracts are valid from 01 February 2023.

"We want to provide our passengers with a smooth travel experience and keep the level of service at all our airports as high as possible. We have had positive experiences with similar contracts at our other airports," says Jani Jolkkonen, Finavia's Senior Vice President, Airport Network.

When the contracts come into effect, the arrangement of taxis in front of the terminal will also change. A separate lane in front of the terminal's main entrance will be reserved for the contracted companies' vehicles. The other taxis will be diverted to another taxi lane. Kuopio Airport also has a separate waiting area for pre-booked taxis.
