Break Sokos Hotel Bomba in Nurmes gets new hotel wing

Break Sokos Hotel Bomba in Nurmes is undergoing a major renovation. An additional hotel wing is being built on the shore of Lake Pielinen to house 92 rooms, meeting rooms and a restaurant. The rooms in the log cabins will also be renovated.

The development is expected to start in April and last until summer. The number of rooms will double to a total of 201. There are five floors in the new hotel building. The new rooms have large panoramic windows from which guests have a magnificent view of the ever-changing landscape of Lake Pielinen. The rooms on the top floor also have their own balconies.

Break Sokos Hotel Bomba is located in close proximity to the Karelian village of Bomba and Bomba House. The approximately 50 hotel rooms in the traditional log cabins will also be renovated from spring 2023. The bathrooms will be modernised and the rooms will be equipped with new beds and air conditioning. The Karelian Village rooms can be booked through the Sokos Hotel booking channels.
