Fresh concepts at Oslo Airport: Avinor modernises restaurants
Oslo Airport is on the brink of a culinary revolution as Avinor, the Norwegian airport operator, introduces new dining options. After signing new contracts this spring with six different operators, some of the most popular restaurants at the main airport will be replaced by fresh concepts.
Highlights of the new restaurants include the launch of O'Leary's Sport and Gastrobar in the domestic area of the airport, which will also offer sports broadcasts during opening hours. Bit Union and LETT will offer healthy and affordable food in the domestic area, while a new wine bar called "Tigerstaden" will open in the international area. In addition to the existing favourites, the food and beverage offering will be expanded with Grab & Go options, allowing travellers to grab a quick and convenient meal before their flight.
The new restaurants are scheduled to open in spring 2025, with work starting in the last quarter of this year. More bars and restaurants will be opened, particularly in the non-Schengen area of the airport, to meet the needs of passengers.
