Viking Line strengthens sales and marketing efforts with Kathrin Schiemann

Viking Line has welcomed Kathrin Schiemann as Sales and Marketing Manager for the DACH market and Western Europe. Kathrin Schiemann succeeded Ralf Buchfink on 1 September 2023 and will be responsible for developing and implementing sales and marketing strategies to strengthen Viking Line's presence in these markets.

Schiemann joins Viking Line with an impressive background in the ferry and cruise industry, having previously held positions such as office manager at the Verband der Fährschifffahrt und Fährtouristik (VFF), sales manager north at A-ROSA Flussschiff GmbH and sales promotion manager at Stena Line. Her extensive expertise and experience make her a valuable asset to the Viking Line team.

Based in Norderstedt near Hamburg, Kathrin Schiemann will focus on strengthening cooperation with European travel agencies and tour operators as well as building new partnerships. Her primary goal is to promote Viking Line's offering and increase market share in the DACH region and Western Europe.
