Three ships a day to Tallinn and easier access from 15 Finnish cities

Viking Line is preparing for another record-breaking summer on its Helsinki–Tallinn route by adding more departures and improving accessibility. From June 18 to August 10, in addition to the regular Viking XPRS, the cruise ships Viking Cinderella and Gabriella – familiar from the Stockholm line – will also operate between the Finnish and Estonian capitals.

Up to four departures daily

During the summer peak season, Viking Line will offer up to four daily departures to Tallinn. Viking Cinderella and Gabriella will alternate on the 10:30 a.m. departure slot. Between Monday and Sunday, there will be three daily departures, with a fourth added on Fridays. This popular short sea route is ideal for day trips, but those wishing to travel on a specific date or bring their car are advised to book well in advance.

New Onnibus partnership: stress-free connections across Finland

To make the trip easier for travelers from all over Finland, Viking Line has teamed up with express bus operator Onnibus. Timetables are now aligned so passengers can conveniently transfer from Onnibus services at Helsinki's Kamppi terminal to Viking Line’s Katajanokka ferry terminal.

“For many people, it’s a huge relief not to have to search for parking or navigate local transit in Helsinki. These new connections make the journey smooth and relaxing from the moment you leave home,” says Minna Tuorila, Viking Line’s Commercial Director.

“Bookings are already strong, and many departures are sold out – even though most bookings are usually made last minute,” says Tuorila. “More people are choosing to bring their cars, and destinations beyond Tallinn, like Pärnu and Eastern Estonia, are gaining popularity thanks to their affordability and unique offerings.”
