Hurtigruten expands routes to North Cape and Svalbard

For the season 2023, Norwegian shipping company Hurtigruten will renovate its mail boat Trollfjord and deploy it on two new routes. The North Cape line is expected to open on June 03 and the cruise to Svalbard will debut on September 26.

The on-board offerings will also be remodeled. The new created “premium cruises” will attract passengers with longer layovers and shore excursions and will provide a wider selection of culinary options. Guests will be able to enjoy an upscale entertainment on board with activities such as picnics, wine, beer, champagne or whiskey tastings or cooking classes.

On the 15-day North Cape itinerary from/to Oslo, passengers discover the southernmost and northernmost points of Norway. Cruising through the Hardanger Fjord is likely to be an unforgettable experience for many guests.

The second new line sets course for Longyearbyen on Svalbard. In 16 days from/to Bergen, travelers can expect to visit popular places such as the Lofoten Islands, Vesteralen or North Cape.

Hurtigruten accepts bookings on both cruises now.
