Invitation-only, no listed address and the world’s cleanest air: a new benchmark for ultra-private Arctic luxury
A retreat you won’t find on any map has opened its doors. Octola II, the newest project within Octola Private Wilderness, has welcomed its first guests and is already considered one of the most intriguing high-end openings of the year.
A location kept deliberately secret
Hidden deep within Finnish Lapland, the exact coordinates of Octola II remain undisclosed. Access is private-transfer only, leading visitors into silent forests and untouched snowfields where even the Northern Lights can sometimes be heard on still winter nights.
Two exclusive buyout-only stays: Ultra Lodge & Supersuite Villa
Octola II is divided into two fully private accommodation options:
Ultra Lodge (over 800 m²)
- five ensuite bedrooms
- In-house spa
- three sauna concepts
- gym
- Cigar lounge
- children's room
- dedicated aurora-viewing lounge
Supersuite Villa
- two suite-sized bedrooms
- private saunas
- Outdoor hot tubs
- glass-fronted living room designed for sky gazing
A sanctuary of the cleanest air in the world
The estate offers something no other lodge currently provides: real-time monitored ultra-clean air, measured with scientific-grade instruments. Experts link this purity to improved respiratory recovery, longevity and enhanced mental clarity.
This forms the basis of Respiro Octola, a new wellness program combining:
- Nordic thermal rituals
- cold-water immersion
- breathwork
- nature-based Finnish therapies
A new chapter for Scandinavia’s most private luxury brand
Octola II follows the original Octola I, a 700-hectare estate that redefined Arctic seclusion with wildlife access and some of Lapland’s clearest aurora skies. Octola remains the first high-end lodge in the Nordics with a negative carbon footprint, setting a new benchmark for eco-luxury travel.
Access by request only – and via a private waiting list
There are no public rates or individual room bookings. Every stay is a full buyout, with itineraries tailored from scratch. Prospective guests must first request a place on the private waiting list. Only a small selection is invited each year. Those accepted will work directly with the Octola team to design their stay, arrange transfers and customize every detail.
