Viking Line and Tallink Silja resume routes between Helsinki and Stockholm

Following a year and a half break, both Tallink Silja and Viking Line are resuming traffic between the Finnish and Swedish capitals.

Starting on 6 July, the Viking Gabriella will be back in action on the Baltic Sea. During the summer, the Gabriella will sail along the Helsinki-Stockholm route on days when no special cruises to other destinations are planned. After the summer season, the Gabriella will offer the Stockholm-Helsinki route every other day. This was announced by the Finnish shipping company in a press release.

Tallink Silja will start a month later. The Silja Serenade will not set sail again until 1 August and will then operate every two days between Helsinki and Stockholm. The sister ship Silja Serenade - currently operating between Stockholm, Visby, Ystad and Härnösand - will return to its previous route in September.
