Tallink Silja's newest ship MyStar sets sail

MyStar is the newest ship in the Tallink Silja fleet. The first crossing from Tallinn to Helsinki took place on 13 December this year. It is the most modern and technologically advanced ship in the Baltic Sea.

Paavo Nõgene, CEO of Tallink Grupp, says: "We are all very excited that this week it is finally time to welcome the newest member of our fleet: MyStar, the Baltic's brightest star. Her long-awaited arrival heralds a new era on the Tallinn-Helsinki route - with increased service standards, greater comfort for our passengers and a high focus on sustainability."

The MyStar is currently replacing the Megastar vessel, but will serve the Tallinn-Helsinki route together with the Megastar and Star in the future. Construction of the vessel began in 2020, and it is the most technologically advanced and energy efficient vessel in the fleet. With a length of 212.4 metres, it offers space for around 2,800 passengers.
