Ski in Olso gets a Scandic Hotel

Scandic Hotels will be present in Ski in Oslo as of 2026

Scandic Hotels has signed a contract for a new hotel in Ski outside Oslo, Norway. The central location next to the train station is ideal and with 15 floors, the hotel will become a new landmark in the city.

Around 220 rooms will be housed in the hotel, which is expected to open in 2026. In addition, there are meeting facilities, conference rooms, office space and a panoramic bar on the roof.

Ski is located in the municipality of Follo and is just a stone's throw from the center of Oslo. Thanks to the new Follo railway, the travel time from Ski to Oslo is reduced. The renovation of the railway station and the town center are revitalising the small town. Newly built residential areas point to strong growth, and the suburb is attractive for business as well as leisure travelers. The new Scandic Hotel will be a meeting place for locals and tourists alike.
