Schedule update: Viking Glory to operate evening departures from Turku

Temporary vessel changes on the Turku–Stockholm route in January 2026

In January 2026, the Turku–Mariehamn–Stockholm route will operate with a temporary vessel arrangement. While Viking Grace undergoes scheduled refurbishment, Viking Glory will take over the evening departures from Turku. Gabriella will operate the morning departures during this period.

Viking Grace will be out of service from 6 to 29 January 2026, returning to regular operations at the end of the month.

Enhanced onboard experience

During January, Viking Glory will offer a refreshed onboard programme, including live entertainment by well-known Finnish artists. Evening departures from Turku are particularly popular for short breaks and spontaneous travel, making the change an added attraction for winter travelers.

A special highlight is the 28 January 2026, when Viking Glory operates a “Day in Stockholm” cruise from Turku, allowing passengers a full day ashore combined with two evenings onboard.
