Investment strengthens Baltic connectivity and long-term growth

The Nordic Investment Bank (NIB) has agreed on a EUR 40 million financing facility to support the expansion of Tallinn Airport. The long-term loan will fund a phased development program scheduled for completion by 2030.

Boosting capacity and regional connectivity

Tallinn Airport served 3.5 million passengers in 2024, exceeding its current design capacity. The expansion will increase annual capacity to up to 5.5 million passengers, improving operational efficiency and passenger experience.

By strengthening international air links, the project supports economic development and tourism growth in Estonia and the wider Nordic–Baltic region.

Preparing for future demand

The investment includes new arrivals facilities, additional contact gates, expanded passenger areas and modernised infrastructure, helping the airport manage peak traffic more smoothly.
